My Travels

After uniiversity I travelled solo & worked in Africa, Asia and Australia for about 6 years.

This was an adventurous & formative experience; pre-mobile phones & internet, a one way ticket to ‘where-ever’, fully emerged in the local culture, finding employment there & then with no ‘expat support system’. This ‘time-out’ from a more conventional path has shaped my outlook on life and often provides a helpful reframe for my clients.

To fund my travels I worked locallly, doing a mixture of casual work & marketing assignments. As my travels evolved I managed quite adventurous jobs like; being part of the team managing Londolozi game reserve in South Africa for 6 months & working as a qualified white water river guide taking clients on multiple days rafting trips in Austria & Nepal for 2 years.
